Nature is for wee-ones
to divide and create universes in.
It's where they find new fears, and conquer them.
Watch time move through water
and make ripples in their open futures.
A place to learn where true beauty stems from
to accept nothing but the real thing.

Who'd a thunk
The other day Cambrell asked me if when I first met him did I ever think I'd be married to him and have 3 kids. "Not really, you were on the phone with a girl and told jokes I didn't get." (long story, not for today). But no, I didn't think I'd be married to my best friend and running around after 3 kids.
The most surprising thing to me about these little lives isn't their mere existence, but how they are each their own little selves. I wasn't expecting clones of us necessarily. But that's the thing, you don't really know what you're going to get.
The super sensitive one who cried at the sound of other babies crying. The spicy often aloof who is actually a big goof.
The even tempered one who takes it all in, but is just slightly off which is perhaps the most endearing thing you've every seen in a little human.
There is nothing more complicated or interesting on the this earth, to me, than how in the world all of these different little folks comprise such a giant portion of my heart.
